Q: Who are you? What are you about? A: We're a Canadian metal magazine that's released four times a year, devoted to the underground and below. Coverage takes form in interviews, record reviews, zine reviews, independent/demo reviews and occasional festival reviews. Whether it be death metal, black metal, thrash metal, grindcore, noisecore, whatever, it's here. Issue #27 is full glossy with a colour glossy cover, and is shipped throughout North America, along with Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, Austria, among others. Q: How do I get the latest copy of the mag? A: There are three ways: 1) We're available in a number of stores across North America, along with a few in Europe. In the United States you can find us in Towers, Barnes and Noble, Borders (select locations), Newbury Comics and various magazine newstands or small bookstores. In Canada, you can find us in Chapters and Indigo books locations, along with a number of smaller magazine stores. Feel free to e-mail us to find out the nearest location near you. 2) Various distributors also carry the mag. Credible distro's like Relapse, Abyss Productions, Dark Realm and Civilian Death Network carry our current issue, so you can contact them if you wish. 3) You can do it the old fashion way by sending $4 for our current issue (for Canadian or American readers) or $6 for European/foreign readers. A: Indeed we do. Our current rates are for a one-year (four issue) subscription: $20 for Canadian readers, $25 for American readers and $30 for the rest of the world. Up until issue #27 we included free promotional cd's with each issue, but due to rising postage costs this practice has unfortunately been discontinued. Q: Do you sell back issues? A: We do. Please be warned that the following issues -- #11, #13, #18, #20 amd #23 -- are now sold out. A: You sure can! Send it to the postal address above and we'll try to fit a review of it into the mag. Due to the excessive amount of zines/demo's we receive, we cannot guarantee a review.
