Q:
Who are you? What are you about?
A: We're a Canadian metal magazine that's released four times a
year, devoted to the underground and below. Coverage takes form
in interviews, record reviews, zine reviews, independent/demo reviews
and occasional festival reviews. Whether it be death metal, black
metal, thrash metal, grindcore, noisecore, whatever, it's here.
Issue #27 is full glossy with a colour glossy cover, and is shipped
throughout North America, along with Mexico, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan,
Austria, among others.
Q: How do I get the latest copy of the mag?
A: There are three ways:
1) We're available in a number of stores across North America, along
with a few in Europe. In the United States you can find us in Towers,
Barnes and Noble, Borders (select locations), Newbury Comics and
various magazine newstands or small bookstores. In Canada, you can
find us in Chapters and Indigo books locations, along with a number
of smaller magazine stores. Feel free to e-mail
us to find out the nearest location near you.
2) Various distributors also carry the mag. Credible distro's like
Relapse, Abyss Productions, Dark Realm and Civilian Death Network
carry our current issue, so you can contact them if you wish.
3) You can do it the old fashion way by sending $4 for our current
issue (for Canadian or American readers) or $6 for European/foreign
readers. If you decide to send a money order, make sure it's both
payable to "Unrestrained Productions" and that it’s
an international money order, to:

Q: Do you currently have subscription rates?
A: Indeed we do. Our current rates are for a one-year (four issue)
subscription: $25 for Canadian readers, $30 for American readers
and $35 for the rest of the world. Each of the four magazines sent
for a subsciption comes with TWO FREE CD'S -- so that's 8 CD's
and four magazines for each subscription! And if you have any metal
preferences -- black metal, death metal, power metal, thrash, hardcore
etc. -- let us know and we'll do our best to include your favorite
type of metal music!
Q: Do you sell back issues?
A: We do. All of which are listed in the magazine, which are all
of them except issues #11 and #13 which have sold out. Any good-sized
back issue order includes a good number of CD’s as well. Click

Q: How do I get updates on the magazine?
A: E-mail info@unrestrainedmag.com
and ask to be put on the mailing list, and we'll be sure you get
updated on all the future happenings of the mag.
Q: Can I contribute a zine or demo to be reviewed?
A: You sure can! Send it to the postal address above and we'll try
to fit a review of it into the mag. Due to the excessive amount
of zines/demo's we receive, we cannot guarantee a review. Tear sheets
will be provided upon request. Every demo is taken into review/interview
consideration.
